    MIDWINTER’S DAY!!!

What are you doing this winter ??

 Day Dreaming about riding???

Waiting for the same old bike show to come around???

Maybe YOU should BOOK a flight to Arizona and have a little 2-wheeled FUN in the ARIZONA SUN!!!  65 and sunny in the middle of JANUARY?  Dinner on the patio after a great ride???  I know, it sounds like a dream???

BUT THIS  ONE  CAN COME TRUE!!!

I have been making this trip since 1997 and have FOUND SOME really fun and challenging TRAILS.  And I have shared some really great rides and hundreds of miles with friends!  And, now it’s your turn TO RIDE what I feel are  SOME OF THE BEST TRAILS in the country, and see sights like no other place on earth, and have the time of your life!!

I will pick you up at the airport (PHX or  Williams Gateway International) in the morning or in the evening, depending on what time you arrive.  We can head out to ride or to the hotel (before 10 am and after 7 pm).  Super shuttle vans also available midday (at your cost).

I will take care of the daily transportation to and from rides.  We will HIT THE ROAD around 8:30 a.m. for the day’s ride.  We can stop and enjoy breakfast on the patio, overlooking Saquaro Lake, or just head out and ride!!!  We will PUT IN approximately 50 to 70 miles each day, depending on your  fun factor and how you feel.  I will have pre and post ride snacks, sport drinks, H2O, and a subway style lunch, catered trailside. .

I will lead you on an adventure through the most scenic parts of Arizona riding some really scenic, fun, jeep roads and trails at a pace you can handle.  I'll show you national forests without trees, but Saquaros 30 feet tall, mountains, flat deserts,  rocks, old silver and quartz mines, and much more!!!

I will have your 300exc KTM, and/or 450exc KTM set up with the best aftermarket parts to make your ride more fun and comfortable. The bikes will be dialed in for your weight via springs and aftermarket re-valves for the rough, rugged terrain we will be enjoying!  We will run Bridgestone ultra heavy-duty tubes front and rear.  I prefer Michelin M12 in the front and the Pirelli mt16 tires,  Enduro Engineering hand guards, a Scott’s steering damper, TORCO lubricants!!!  Standard KTM bend bars or Pastrana tall Pro Tapers, and tall seats are also available.

I will handle all repairs on the bikes while on the trail, and at night, handle all fueling and general maintenance!  I will assist you on the trail if you are having difficulty and we will take plenty of rest and photo stops along the trail.

This is not for the beginner or weak-hearted.  This is the tough kind of  fun!!!** We'll ride anywhere from 1 to 6 days (3&4 are the most common), and if you need a day off the throttle, we can break things up a little, and sneak out for a round or two of golf or maybe some great fishing on one of the great lakes Arizona has to offer!!!

We will visit trail heads near:  1) Sugar Loaf Mountain, off the Bee – line, 87 North, 2) Pima Rd.,  3) Crown King, a tough jeep road (laid back, fun ride),         4) Wickenburg, near the start  of the AMA national enduro.    *( YOU can GOOGLE EARTH IT ALL!!!)

**Crown King and Wickenburg rides—we will leave around 6:30 am and stay one night in Wickenburg (old western town).

You are responsible for your  flight, lodging costs, and meals, (breakfast and dinners) and any other  ground transportation after our daily return from riding. The hotels are within walking distance to some great restaurants!  Denny's and the 5 & Dine diner are available for breakfast. The Outback, Olive Garden, Hooters, PF Changs, RTO Sullivans (sports bar) and quite few others are available for dinner. Lodging will be at hotels, and motels in Mesa and range from $99 to $160 a night—your choice between Super 8, Best Western, Sleep Inn, or a 4-star stay at the Country Suites. You can book your accommodations according to your wishes with the list below. You could also rent an RV and spend the nights trail side, or at a couple of the National parks close to the trail heads around Saquaro Lake but are a  ways out of town.

Rides dates from 01/10/2010 thru 03/15/2010.

I  can not take beginner riders.  All riders must have a full understanding of the motorcycle’s controls, especially the brakes!

Have a full set of offroad riding gear, Full face helmet, chest protector, MX  style boots,  knee pads- brace and good goggles

1 & 2 day rides (1 rider) $245.00 per rider per day, (2 riders) $230.00 per rider per day

3 & 4 day rides with (1&2 riders $215.00 per rider per day).

Tires, insurance and fuel = $$$$$

Wear and tear items are all part of the trip!  Any major damage will be covered by the rider.  I must have a credit card with your signature on file, just in case the                  extra costs, and a rider’s release forms before you ride, THIS IS A DANGEROUS SPORT- HOBBY!!!!
